I watched the movie "What the blip do we know" a couple of days ago. I have not been the same since. Make sure to somehow see it: steal it, rent it, download it... I don't care. Just watch the bloody thing, to realise why you do the things you do, and what really stops you from being happy. Still here? Go grab it!
Yeah, it's definitely an interesting doco, and made me feel the same way when I first saw it.
ReplyDeleteAnd then I started doing some research into the people who put forth their views in the movie, and realised, you really should take it in with a grain of salt.
Take all thats meaningful for you from it, but beware, it's laden with it's own share of crap too, but subtlely hidden in there with all the good stuff.
You might, if you already haven't seen ,it want to take a look at "An elegant universe", all about string trheory and stuff. I believe it's avaliable as a free download off the bbc website.
Also, "The secret" is good for a bit of fun, but once again, big grain of salt there, some of the commentators are a bit dubious.
Hi Elizabeth :) You don't actually know me, but I saw your name/the link to your blog in an FB and I was wondering if you'd like to be pals? Yes, it did say SNNP in the FB but it seems like we have a lot in common so I thought I'd give it a try, anyway. ;) If you're interested you can send me an e-mail at jago_1980@yahoo.com and I'll tell you more about myself. I totally understand if you don't want more pals, though. :)
ReplyDeleteI've heard of the film, but not seen it. Suppose I'll go find a download or something....
ReplyDeleteHelp! Who are all these people? Does the word "fuck" in the title attract that many viewers? I'll do it more often, then. :-)
ReplyDeleteDear felix faustus nothus (hehe): I take nothing literally. It is just that the movie came at the right time as I am presently conducting a research on chaos and chaos magick, social conditioning and C. Jung. It will be a lifetime project as it seems. One should take everything with a grain of salt, and pick those elements that help expand one's mind, discard the rest. The movie had aplenty. Thank you for the info and the kind comments. Add little heart here. <3
Krista, my highpriestess of boobies: I still have no idea what can happen by more people reading this blog. I suppose it could be mildly unpleasant for the majority, something like laxative for the brain of the masses. Or not. No bomb for you my darling but a little something for your approaching b-day/nameday will be in the post tomorrow.
Dear anonymous/jago: feel free to send an e-mail with your info to the e-mail of my blog and tell me more about yourself. Since you went through all the trouble of actually finding my blog, I will gladly hear to what you have to say. Please be as lengthy as your heart desires.
And last but not least, my dear episkopos: it's worth it. Check it out.
KISSES TO ALL!
(Mental note: must use the word "fuck" more often in blog titles.)
Sorry, I think this was my fault (the new people that is). I linked you on my blog, and these deranged lunatics who insist on reading me followed, sure as night does with day.
ReplyDeleteAnd I still haven't found a download. I'm worried I may have to spend money or something soon...
